Devastating Rushford Flood Calls for Response, Quick Action
On August 18 and 19, 2007, heavy rains caused flash floods throughout southeastern Minnesota. At the confluence of Rush Creek and the Root River at Rushford, Minn., water rose to levels even the community's oldest residents had never seen.
