Early Childhood Initiative Community Coalitions
Currently, our Foundation supports 20 Early Childhood Initiative (ECI) Coalitions. Each community commits to three stages of involvement: community visioning, project implementation, and sustainable operation. The ECI receives coalition support and project implementation grants.
Home Visitation Grant Program
Existing home visitation programs may apply for funds to enhance and increase visitation services. Grants are funded through our Youth Trust Fund. Applications are available each year.
Incentive Grants
We provide up to $20,000 to launch early childhood development or entrepreneur development programs/projects that inspire collaboration and demonstrate results. Applications are accepted twice annually, with submission deadlines in February and August.
Bookstart
Organizations committed to distributing books and literacy programming directly to young children in our 20-county region may apply to the BookStart program, a partnership with Capstone. Applications are generally due in March.
Young Explorer Learning Centers
Early childhood partners in our 20-county region may apply for a kid-friendly early learning computer station with science-, math-, reading- and literacy-focused software, this grant is available through a partnership with IBM Corporation.
